Process for creating an attack animation

Consultation – Discuss what is necessary and the vision for the game to determine the best approach to the animation

Request – any custom models or assets that will be necessary when creating the animation, including custom models, skins, rigs

Plan – Create an overall concept for how the attack animations will play together, if its one or many etc.

Cut – Cut the animation up into usable attack animations that have proper timing and return to idle pose phases to work properly in a video game

Cleanup – Clean the animations making them believable and fine tune them for style and effective storytelling
